MIDOR held the General Assembly Meeting for the fiscal year 2018

His Excellency Engineer Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, approved MIDOR general assembly meeting results in the presence of EGPC Chairman , petroleum sector heads, MIDOR Shareholders, Chem./ Gamal Elkareish MIDOR Chairman & CEO and Board Members.

The fiscal year 2018 has been reviewed; MIDOR achieved revenues of $ 2.1 billion in 2018.MIDOR processed about 43.8 million barrels and produced more than 5 MMT of various high quality petroleum products, which conform to the highest international standards; Diesel 2156 KMT, LPG 172 KMT an High-octane gasoline 1146 KMT, in addition to 1014 KMT of Jet fuel, 465 KT of coke and 71 KT of sulfur.

MIDOR continues to contribute to the local market needs, providing more than 3 million tons of petroleum products (Diesel, Gasoline, LPG, Naphtha, Coke and Sulfur), which represents 62% of the refinery’s production. MIDOR has exported 1.8 million tons to international markets including Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, America, Argentina, Portugal, Romania, Algeria, Tunisia, Slovenia and Georgia. Exports represents 38% of the refinery's production.

MIDOR expansion project aims to increase the production capacity by 60%, and produce high quality petroleum products in accordance to international market standards “Euro 5”.  It’s worth mentioning that the expansion project is considered an evolution not only to MIDOR but also to the entire Egyptian petroleum products market, supporting the national economy and contributing positively in achieving the state vision of Egypt “Being a regional hub for oil and gas trading.”

MIDOR pursues a strategic vision based on the optimal use of all production elements and its inputs in order to maximize the added value economically.
