Badawi Inaugurates MOC 2024
On October 20, Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, officially inaugurated the Mediterranean Offshore Conference (MOC) in Alexandria.
This year's event, themed 'Mapping the Future of Mediterranean Energy: Optimising Exploration, Development, and Production with Decarbonisation Technologies for a Sustainable Tomorrow,' brings together key figures including Aristotelis Aivaliotis, Greek Secretary General for Energy and Mineral Resources; George Papanastasiou, Cypriot Minister of Energy, Commerce, and Industry; along with secretaries of major international organisations in the energy and natural gas sectors for the three-day conference.
